Rainforest Light Black Tea - Only newly sprouted tips and leaves of the tea plant are selected. These leaves are then withered, oxidized and roasted to create a tea with hints of cacao, molasses, currants and a sweet aroma. Origin: Coonoor, Blue Mountains, India. The Blue Mountains of Southern India are home to tea gardens ranging between 2000 to 6500 feet in elevation. Rainforest Alliance Certified - The Rainforest Alliance is an internationl nonprofit conservation oganization that certifies tea farms, ensuring that they meet comprehensive standards for the conservation of natural resources and the rights and welfare of workers and local communities. Brewing - use one teaspoon of tea with twelve ounces filtered water at 180 F. and steep for 3 minutes. 3.0 oz tin.
